Thoroughly developed from idea to launch and beyond

We develop our entire formulation in harmony – both probiotic and non-probiotic ingredients – to ensure strain activity, survival and stability. This starts by deeply characterizing our strains. Before coupling them to a specific indication, we want to get to know our strains through and through. We therefore map their unique capabilities using their genetic make-up (in silico) and through various screenings (in vitro).

Secondly, we have to make sure they’re safe for human consumption. All our strains are QPS certified or have an extensive safety record. In addition to that, they are screened for sensitivity or resistance to various antibiotics. To ensure optimal probiotic effectiveness Winclove has developed its Probioact® Technology, to optimise strain stability, GI survival and activity.
